Who Needs Nights In White Satin When You Can Have Thighs In Black Leather

If you know me even a little you know I LOVE LOST!!!!!!

Last night episode totally blew me away. If you have not watched it yet then stop here and come back after you watch it or else YOU WILL BE SPOILED. (in case you missed it, that's a spoiler alert)

This was a Sayid episode. We got some yummy peeks at a cleaned up Sayid in some tight black leather. And it was EYE CANDY!!!! My dear friend Ann was all swooned, I am not sure how much else she saw.
(I watch LOST weekly with my laptop in bed with us so that my lovable Potter friends who are also my LOST buddies but spread around the country and I can chat about the goings on of the episode on skype)
So we saw that Sayid was a killer of sorts all the way back to his childhood and the choking of a chicken. Did you love the irony of the sandwich little Ben brings to 1977 Sayid being chicken salad?
And speaking of little Ben, can I just say CREEPY!!! Doc Jensen, whose lost articles and videos I love, made a Harry Potter connection, and aside from the age and glasses there really is no link. This child Ben just oozes ick.
This whole episode really had little to do with any of the others (not OTHERS but others) except that Kate learns from Hurley (digression here to say I love Hurley and that he is the cook. He is so open and honest and lovable. And the actor writes a great blog which can be found at http://dispatchesfromtheisland.blogspot.com/) OK, she learns from him that Juliet and Sawyer are more then just roommates. Jack and Hurley both caught it sooner but Kate needed to be told. On this front we see a little talk between Kate and Juliet about it but no big confrontation. I was sort of looking forward to seeing Juliet get tough with Kate but nope.
As much as we learn about Sayid and how he ended up on the plane with the Marshall handcuffed we learn that there is no limit to Ben's bad. Him telling Sayid about Locke's death....he was killed. Well yeah, Ben killed him. But he puts the idea in Sayid's head that Hurley is in danger...Of course Sayid wants to protect Hurley. Hurley brings that out in people.

There is one other little tidbit we are given. It is not given much time and it isn't really given much time, but we hear Sawyer voice his desire to protect the new life he has going there in 1977 hippy Dharmaville. Also Sawyer gets the best line of the night...When they take Sayid out into the jungle to Larry minus his brothers Daryll and Daryll, Sayid asks who the dude is and Sawyer, in a most serious voice says "He's our you"

But everything else that happens in this episode pales in comparison to the last 2 minutes. After causing a major distraction with a flaming bus little Ben gets Sayid out of his cell, helps him escape, they take off for the jungle and run into Jin who doesn't see little Ben only Sayid. All of that while interesting and exciting are nothing to how the episode ends.
Sayid does what we all or at least many of us wanted to see him do but did not really think he would...HE SHOOTS LITTLE BEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!

What will this do to the future we know is only a few years away for the Dharma folks, the purge a late teenage Ben helps bring about? What will this do to the adult baddie Ben that is on the island now in 2007 and laying on a beach knocked out by Sun? What will this do to the LOSTies who learned of the others by having Henry Gale/Ben in the hatch? Going by what sexy nerd Daniel (by the way where is he?) has said, you can't change the past, what happened will happen, so the purge is going to happen, so why is there is no Ben? So many questions so few episodes left to answer them in..
